Founder, Filmmaker, Producer
Born and brought up in Calcutta, India, Aditya was always inclined towards performing arts. He is trained in western classical music, theatre, animation and has a degree in Graphic Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India. Aditya was a producer with Channel V before making his hugely successful debut film, Asha Jaoar Majhe (Labour Of Love) which fetched several international film awards and two national awards including the Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a Director, in 2015.
Producer and Filmmaker
Priyankar is a Calcutta based screenwriter, filmmaker and a playwright. During his time at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he earned his MFA in Screenwriting, he worked closely with Warner Bros., and developed multiple projects as part of the Television Academy Foundation's education initiatives. After graduation, he moved back to Calcutta to collaborate with Aditya as a producer at For Films. Priyankar has also been a part of the Locarno Industry Academy - South Asia. Currently he's developing his feature length directorial debut.
Writer & Content Developer
Arush is a lawyer by training, who has practiced in Kolkata and New Delhi. He has been a keen theatre enthusiast which led him to direct his debut play, Monk of Malgudi, an adaptation of RK Narayan’s The Guide and Vijay Tendulkar’s Silence the Court is in Session. His passion for cinema prompted him to join For Films where he hopes to develop his skills further.
Head - Finance & Accounting
A post graduate in Commerce from the University of Calcutta worked with National Insurance Co Ltd for almost 40 years before he formed For Films with his son, Aditya. Tridib looks after the financial aspects of the company apart from which he also acts in various television commercials, web series and feature films.
